The Hive is Leitrim's Technology Enterprise Centre which was developed as part of the Innovation and Enterprise Programme (IEP) which is a joint cross border initiative between Leitrim and Omagh. The project received £2.27 million, part-financed by the European Union’s INTERREG IVA Programme, managed by the Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB). The Programme is led by Omagh District Council and the partners are Enterprise Ireland, Leitrim County Council, Leitrim County Enterprise Fund, Leitrim County Enterprise Board and Omagh Enterprise Company, developed by the Irish Central Border Area Network (ICBAN) through their Multi-Annual Plan.
