CoderDojo is a global volunteer-led community of free programming workshops where young between 7 and 17people learn to code, hack, develop websites, apps, games & more!

We have been running in The Hive Carrick-On-Shannon from Jan 2015 from 6.15pm – 8.00pm each Thursday. We want to bring to the community an environment where children from 7 to 17 years old can share passions for coding and learning experience. We really work to encourage creativity and having fun in a relaxed, social environment while our children learn to communicate using the languages of the future.

In 2020 and early 2021 we have moved all our activities online. While the time has been amazing, we are keen to move back to weekly meet ups during school term in The Hive in Autumn 2021 (depending on restrictions, if applicable) .
