The Hive Carrick-on-Shannon
Leitrim County Enterprise Fund Ltd are currently at the early stages of expanding the existing 14,000 square foot facilities at The Hive, and will add an extension to accommodate up to 45 new co-working and office spaces. This is a collaborative project between members of the Upper Shannon Erne Future Economy (USEFE), and the overall project will provide a network of three Digital and Innovation Hubs in Counties Leitrim, Cavan and Longford. Other key partners in USEFE are Bord na Mona, ESB Networks and Roscommon, Leitrim, Cavan and Longford County Council.
The promoters are set on delivering a co-working space linked to the provision of high speed broadband in these towns with a focus on digital technologies. Cavan Digital Hub opened in June 2019, it has already welcomed leading US media monitoring and analytics firm Public Relay into its building by providing high quality video conference rooms and high-speed broadband. Cavan Digital Hub also acts as a launch pad for new innovative start-ups in the community. They offer a range of office solutions including hot desks and dedicated desks, it is a perfect landing space for growing businesses looking for spaces for their staff or for business start-ups looking for co-working space.

Co:Worx Edgeworthstown, County Longford are developing a similar digital hub to Cavan and Leitrim, Co:Worx will include co-working, hot desk spaces and meeting room facilities, the hub will cultivate an environment that fosters creativity and the sharing of expertise and knowledge.
Located on the Main St. in Edgeworthstown at the crossroads of the N4 and the N55. With a nearby train station and direct rail links to Dublin and Sligo it is the ideal space for relocation and connection between east and west.
It is located 90 minutes from Dublin airport. Co:worx will open for business in March 2022
